We only live once, but if we do it right, once is enough !
We only live once, but if we do it right, once is enough !
When I was dressing my 2020 resolutions, I had big plans, I was turning 40 and my goal was to visit 20 cities + try 20 new experiences. None of this happened because of lockdown, but it was an eye opener for me on what are the essentials of my life; my little two monsters. The lockdown taught me to embrace free family time, a WE instead of ME as I always was trying to plan. Yet a ME time is still needed and highly recommended, I simply shifted enjoying a ME under the WE and not dissociated them.
This blog is to share some travel experiences where WE & ME can go together easily, challenge some biases or barriers that prevent us spending more quality time together. Across several articles, I'll just share what we did as a little family, how we embraced lovely breaks, and some tips to get better organized. By the time Nawal (mum) published this blog, Salma (she/her) is 8 years old and Mamoun (he/him) is 5 years old. We speak Arabic, French and English, interact with us as you feel and Enjoy reading !
