π Winter is our yearly RDV with snow, and the best town to enjoy it is Ifrane. We did it in the past with family, that was the 1st organized trip all together as ultimate way to be out of Casablanca with all Covid restrictions.

πRediscovering Bine El Ouidane within this beautiful place. It's a little peaceful spot with a stunning views of the little river. Ask for the "Cabane" lodging to get the best of your stay; from the little terrace you can enjoy the natural surroundings all day long.

πNearby Marrakech, Dar Ikalimo has magnificent views over the Ourika valley. The architecture of the building either the restaurant, the decoration, the little farm, β¦ is a real color therapy to your eyes and mind. People looking for a peaceful atmosphere can enjoy all the surrounding nature.

- WE; Walking by nature, animals visit, horse riding, outdoor games (in the farm only)
- ME; Traditional Hammam (short walking distance from the farm), Sport session animated by Dekka Marrakchia (local music band). Since my visit, they added Yoga sessions too and much more manual activities
- In your way back home, you can stop by Anima Garden for short visit

π My Marrakech plan was always an All Inclusive Hotel with kids club animation, pool activities, Majorelle Garden visit and maybe a dinner out. A perfect chillout mood. This entire weekend reshuffled my city experience
πActivities you can do :
- Agafay started to be the fancy spot everyone wanted to post Insta pics from, we enjoyed visiting agafay via a quad ride.
- Beldi Country Club, a nice decorated place to have a little coffee or juice break.
- Mongolfiere or Hot-Air Balloon, wake up early to enjoy the best sunrise, you don't need to go till Cappadocia to enjoy the experience. And yes, my kids did it too, sensational 'I believe I can fly'

π I had been solo to Imlil in organized hiking to Tacheddirt village that I do highly recommend. Douar Samra is another way for a great communion with nature. Waking up with nature sounds will disconnect you from your day to day. Enjoy the views from the restaurant terrace to the Atlas Mountains. Ask for Hut room if available, it will make the experience totally different for the kids and you too, who haven't ever dream of spending a night in a hut?

- Different walk itineraries to water falls are available and drink that yummy Orange Juice
- Enjoy some reading time bouncing in the Hammack
- Have a Tea at the Berber Family Lodge, one of the most Insta spots in Imlil

π Even if I've been to Chefchaouen in the past, I never heard about this region before my visit. The hosts are the typical example of how to build in a family eco-lodge and share those values with their guests. The food is organic and yummy, the facility gives you a sneak peek of the Blue City and the nature around the guest house is astonishing.

- Benefit from the Bellouta nature walking, or early morning yoga
- Visit Chefchaouen, the Blue City
-Visit local cooperatives, and support little artisans
- Ride a boat at Barrage Oued AL Makhazine

π After getting fully vaccinated, and getting less restrictions to travel intra-towns, I felt back the joy of self-drive and enjoyed a family reunion time in a lovely place, white butterfly at Eco-lodge SAFA Boulaouane. The white butterfly concept is to build domes on existing locations, where you can spend the night under the stars. So much to tell about the place that I can summarize in one sentence, the perfect way to get your senses in order.

- Horse Riding, specially before sunset

π Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Tislit, who met a young shepherd named Isli, and they felt in love. Unfortunately, their families weren't in agreement and denied their union. The legend says that each one them went crying on top of mountain and there tears formed the known today Tislit and Isli rivers. I heard the story from my beloved dad since I was young, but never been there till this visit.

π Nothing equals the beauty of the mediterranean sea, but also this region. The beaches are almost still wild, sometimes you need to hike a mountain to find one, or go on a long walk, but 100% worth it.
πActivities you can do :
- Parasailing in Saidia, not recommended for little ones, but an amazing one where I pushed my fears even further.
- Algerian borders, where you can see separated families communicating with each others, they sound very close
- So many amazing seas you can chillout, swim, or do Kayaking,...
- In Nador, you can do Cap des trois fourches, Tibouda, Mina Rosita, Tcharrana, Carablanca
- At late evenning/night, Churros is always a good plan at Marchica, the new lagoon and fancy place everyone want to be in !
- In El Hoceima, you can do Quemado, Calabonita, a boat trip to visit Nkour Islands, Sfiha beach, Badis Island, Cala Iris and visit Kalaat Torres
- On the way back, drive by the mediterranean road and head to Jebha, for little boat visit to Abdelkrim el Khettabi cave, Monica and Lahwad Beaches
π Merzougua to Ouarzazate

π Merzougua was on my bucket list, but the long drive from Casa always discouraged me specially with kids. Luckily, my little two enjoyed a 1st national flight to hit there (via Errachidia), and then we enjoyed a road trip till Ouarzazate. Played it 100% as surprise, they got in the car, slept while driving, and wake up at Airport parking lot :)
πRecommended Places / Activities you can do:
- Enjoy Merzougua and it's magnificent sunsets, Oasis chill-out, Gnaoua at Khamliya village, Panorama view and Algerian borders, Visit Car museum, Camel ride, TamTam show around Fire camp
- The Todgha Gorges / Dades Gorges to embrace stunning canyons in the middle of nature, sleep at Dar Rihana and be amazed by the host hospitality, 5 stars food, and the facility design
- Stop by Kelaat Megouna, the capital of roses, for handmade cosmetics shopping, think about having a second empty bag if planning to visit (amazing products, cheap prices)
- Learn Kasbah Amridil history at Skoura by a very knowledgeable guide. Try Boufenouzen at the restaurant; local couscous version with no meat.
- Kasbah Ait Benhaddou at Ourzazate to enjoy the best tea and sunset views

π Never thought we could combine so many amazing places in one trip of 5 days. This one was a real immersion in some of the beautiful architectures and the scary roads too; hats off to anyone who passed by Tizi N'Test !

- In Tafrouat, visit Napoleon's Hat, the Ait Mansour Valley, The Colored Rocks, and finish your day at La maison traditionnelle de Tafrouat to embrace the region history and its berber traditions
- When heading to Tiout, the must-see stops are Kasba Tizourgane, then Les Greniers Agadir Ikounka, the 1st berber banking system
- In Taroudant, visit the Claudio Bravo Palace, a painter who felt in love with Morocco, and showcased it in this beautiful place
- In Taliouine, learn about how Safran is being cultivated and produced at Dar Zaafran, discover the Tifinagh Caligraphy, and how locals can drive sustainability by a recycling business using several materials
- In Tinmel, visit Tinmel Mosque, a 12th century mosque and a great testimonial of the Almohad architecture. It can be visited from Marrakech, almost 1h drive in the way to Ouirguane
